Reality star and businesswoman, Khloé Kardashian recently ventured into the world of podcasts with the launch of “Khloé in Wonder Land”.

Kardashian’s debut episode featured close family friend and fellow reality TV star, Scott Disick, who gives his first podcast interview.

In an intimate conversation, the duo discussed fame, tabloid rumours and Disick’s parenting style among a host of other things.

About why he chose to stay away from doing podcast interviews, Disick shared: “I was asked to do one the other day when I was in Vegas, I just said yeah, but I didn’t do it ...

“I just feel like if it’s not within our family, the last thing I want to be asked is about our family and then maybe I answer something a little weird and then I have 87 f**king people writing me on the group chat ... I don’t want all of that stress.

He added that in recent months he had been misled into thinking he would be interviewed about cars, only to be asked personal questions about Kardashian and her ex, Lamar Odom.

“They told me they were just going to ask me about my vehicles, and the first question is about you and Lamar, and I was like, ‘Is this a tell-all, what the f**k, what’s going on here?’

“So it was a total decoy to get me to talk about intense sh**, so I stopped it ... This is the reason I don’t do interviews,” said Disick.

His candid comments touch on the evolving nature of interviews today.

“Now days anything you say can be used against you or it’s not politically correct and I know how you and I talk sometimes is not perfect, and we’re not trying to offend anybody, we just used to being who we are, being normal, but the new normal is f**king bazaar, everything is twisted upside down.”

Speaking about his reinvention over the years from douchebag Lord Disick to devoted dad of three, he told Kardashian: “We met when I was 22 ... I tried to pretend that I was mature and knew what I was doing, but I really didn’t. When I look back, I can’t believe anybody tolerated that kind of sh**.”

Squashing rumours of him and Kardashian ever being romantically involved, Disick said: “People say we soulmates, and I’m like, ‘I have children with her sister, we not soulmates’.

“I obviously say a lot of gross things that are probably too much, but that’s just who I am, but I obviously I’m not serious. The fact that people thing that is psychotic.”

Reflecting on the trade-offs of fame, Disick bluntly stated: “The only pro is the money and everything else is a con ... I always say you take the good with the bad, there’s a price to pay for everything.

“We’ve learned ways to navigate our lives where we don’t really feel that famous because we know where to go and not to leave at certain times.”

Yet, the question remains whether his children would follow in the same footsteps.

He suggested this decision rests with them, recalling how the younger Kendall and Kylie Kardashian were initially disinterested in the family's reality show.

“Now look at them ... The 13 or 14 grandkids, when they all become of age, what they could do is like a royal rumble of the world ... Kendall and Kylie blew up a whole society of their age.”

Asked about if he would want his kids to see episodes of the hit reality show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”, Disick explained that he intends for his eldest son, Mason Disick, to understand the complexities of life and how past mistakes, particularly with alcohol, can impact future decisions.

“I do explain to Mason how drinking affected me and how badly it put me in certain places and he knows that and for a while thought that I was going to treat him differently because of that.

“I said, ‘I’m not treating you differently because of my mistakes and how I lived, but if I see a problem with alcohol with you, I will take action’. Other than that, you are just like every other kid.”

As for being linked with someone romantically, Disick responded: “Until I find the right person, I don’t really want to bring another person around ... Right now my focus is on them.”
