Nike is bringing the heat with their revamped Dunk Low 'Suede Panda’
There's no doubt that the ‘Panda’ is one of the most popular sneakers on the planet. They're everywhere. And now, Nike is ready to take the wraps off another version with the Nike Dunk Low ‘Suede Panda.’ A colour combo that was first introduced as part of the American sportswear company's Spring 2021 collection, after three years, it's finally getting a bit of a rework.
Compared to the OG Panda, the ‘Suede Panda’ isn't that much different. Working on top of an all-white leather base, perforations feature across the toebox for added ventilation, while a plush rubber midsole is meant to give you a little extra comfiness and bounce. “Nike” branded tags are stitched on the tongues, and along the insole and heel, you'll find even more logos just in case you needed a reminder who made this big black and white grail.
But that's that where all the similarities end. Because the slick black overlays are now all decked out in suede that's meant to feel a lot smoother and a lot softer than before. This material can also be found on the lacing system and the Swoosh, which slices through the lateral and medial sidewalls in classic Dunk fashion.
The ‘Panda’ has had the trainer game in a chokehold since it made its big debut back in '21. It was quickly followed up by mid-top and high-top versions, and it also spun off into other colourways like the ‘Red Panda.’ But the ‘Suede Panda’ marks the first time that the original design has undergone a revamp, and judging by the fact that sizes from last month's restock still sold out, it's a look that's still as hyped up today as it was way back then.
A release date has yet to be officially confirmed for the Nike Dunk Low ‘Suede Panda,’ but it should drop within the next few weeks at Nike, the Snkrs app, and select stockists across the globe for £110 a pop.
