One of South Africa’s fastest-growing padel brands is set to return to the heart of Cape Town this month as Padel4Good, in partnership with Racket + Ball Club, hosts another highly anticipated tournament at the popular Bree Street venue.

The latest edition of the Padel4Good tournament series will take place on Saturday, 27 June, marking the fourth event on the brand’s 2026 calendar. Tickets officially went on sale today via Playtomic and sold out in under 25 minutes.

The upcoming men’s tournament promises another high-energy day of competitive action, social connection, and community spirit — all core elements that have helped establish Padel4Good as one of Cape Town’s standout padel event organisers.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with players required to enter as teams. Individual player levels ranging from 2.5 to 5 are eligible to compete, while only 16 team spots are available. Entry costs R850 per player.

Padel4Good’s Women’s Event Triumphs on Mother’s Day Weekend

The announcement follows the success of Padel4Good’s recent women’s event, which delivered both emotional moments and high-level competition over Mother’s Day weekend.

Bridgette McGaw and Anneke Kirsten emerged victorious after a thrilling tournament featuring 32 players across 16 teams. Following an intense round-robin stage and knockout rounds, the pair edged out runners-up Kayla Wheeler and Debbie Sendin in a closely contested final.

For the winning duo, the occasion carried even greater significance, as both players celebrated the achievement as mothers during Mother’s Day weekend.

“Yes, we’re both moms! It’s been a wonderful weekend of celebrations and feeling the love,” McGaw said after the victory.

The latest Padel4Good event forms part of an increasingly busy June calendar for Cape Town’s booming padel scene, with clubs and venues across the city hosting competitive tournaments, leagues, social mixers, and ranking events throughout the month.

Among the city’s busiest hubs is Racket + Ball Club, which regularly hosts Americano nights, elite tournaments, mixed competitions, and social ladders. Other active venues include Arturf Padel Arena, home to several SAPA-affiliated tournaments, as well as Africa Padel Claremont and Africa Padel Camps Bay, both known for vibrant evening competitions and social doubles events.

Aura Padel Club and Aura Padel Club Woodstock continue to expand their league and tournament offerings, while PadelX Somerset West, Padel Life Pinelands, and Bay Padel remain popular destinations for players looking to compete regularly across different skill levels.

Cape Town also continues to host larger organised tournament circuits throughout the year, including the Padel4Good Tournament Series, South African Padel Association (SAPA) ranking tournaments, and FSACCI business-networking padel events.

For players wanting to get involved in the local scene, most clubs now announce fixtures dynamically through Instagram, Playtomic, club WhatsApp groups, and SAPA tournament calendars, rather than releasing full monthly schedules in advance.

Playtomic remains one of the easiest ways for players to enter tournaments, book courts, track local events, and connect with the wider Cape Town padel community.
