Will Jane “The Slayer” Osigwe grace Mzansi with one of her legendary celebratory dances that usually leave the crowd cheering and wanting more?

Well, that all depends on her, as PFL Africa has confirmed her as one of the latest signings in the women’s ranks ahead of PFL Africa: Season Two.

On April 10, 2026, the Professional Fighters League will kickstart its 2026 campaign at the SunBet Arena at Time Square, Menlyn Maine, Pretoria, in what promises to build on last year’s inaugural season, which saw the brand roll out its African franchise.

Nigeria’s Osigwe (5-3) has been booked in a fighting slot against current PFL Africa athlete and compatriot Juliet “Golden Bones” Ukah (8-0) in a Women’s Strawweight Showcase Bout that promises to set the roof off and is worthy of main-event status, as both these stars are prime-time viewing when they step into the cage.

Osigwe will debut for one of the fastest-growing global brands after shining in continental promotions, including Kamaru Usman’s upcoming show AKO, where she has been a dominant force in the bantamweight division, running a five-fight win streak. Her last outing saw her secure the Interim Bantamweight Championship over Morocco’s Sanaa Mandar (3-2) in August 2025.

Osigwe — a colourful and vibrant character who loves to express herself and is known for her viral dancing, more specifically twerking videos — is equally well-versed in her fighting skills. She thrives on front-foot action, showcasing aggressive striking with high volume and pace. But make no mistake: if the fight transitions into grappling, she has the know-how and composure to level-change and implement effective sprawls and single- or double-leg takedowns, gaining dominant positions before letting what naturally comes to her — flying and vicious fists — loose.

She will be tested against the more experienced and grizzled campaigner in Ukah, who has yet to find anyone capable of ending her run, riding an unbeaten streak since making her professional debut in 2022.

Ukah has earned the scalps of some of Africa’s toughest women inside the cage, including the likes of Mischka Laubscher, Mary Jane Buna, Crystal Van Wyk and Ceileigh Niedermayr.

While she has the ability to finish fights early — with her latest victory being a first-round TKO against Mariam Gaber — Ukah has no qualms about producing a longer fight and picking her opponent apart over three rounds. With six decision wins, she has the gas tank and grit to do so, and it appears to be something she prefers: reading, processing and carefully selecting her shots.

What will be interesting is how she handles the pace of Osigwe, who loves to get inside the pocket and overwhelm her opponents.

The main event will see the return of the inaugural PFL Africa 2025 Bantamweight Tournament winner, Nkosi Ndebele (11–3), who will take on Italy’s Michele Clemente (7–1), an Oktagon MMA standout currently riding a five-fight win streak as he enters his first PFL Africa event.

South Africa’s heavyweight star Justin Clarke (4–1) will face Senegal’s Abdoullah Kane (5–1) in the co-main event of PFL Africa Season 2 in the country’s administrative capital.

The opening fight on the Pretoria card will see Uganda’s Annet “Rose” Kiiza (3–1) face Kenya’s Felista “The Young Queen” Mugo (5–2–1) in a Women’s Strawweight Showcase bout set to kick off a jam-packed fight card.
