The uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK Party) is in mourning following the untimely passing of Comrade Nkosentsha Shezi.

In a statement, the party said Shezi was not only a public servant; he was a symbol of discipline, courage, and responsibility, earning respect and admiration from his colleagues in Parliament and within the broader structures of the MK Party.

"His steadfast loyalty to the cause of dignity and equality made him a trusted figure within the movement, known for his humility and hard work," said the party's spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndhlela.

He said Shezi's contributions to the struggle for transformation in South Africa are significant, with his relentless advocacy for the marginalised marking him as a true patriot.

The MK Party extended its condolences to the Shezi family and all those who had the privilege of working alongside this extraordinary individual.

“We stand in solidarity with them during this difficult time and pray that they find strength and comfort in the legacy he leaves behind,” the statement read.
