American rapper, Latto has officially confirmed that she has welcomed her first baby.
The “Big Mama” rapper, whose real name is Alyssa Michelle Stephens shared a vlog on Instagram on Monday May 18, revealing that she has given birth to her child that she shares with rapper, 21 Savage.
The intimate video documenting Latto's pregnancy featured several key moments including footage of her working in the studio on her upcoming album, “Big Mama”, as well as clips with her partner at their baby shower where friends and family, including celebrity guests like Usher, Sexyy Red and Angel Reese, were shown guessing the baby's gender.
She also shared clips of her telling her family that she is expecting a baby and also sharing the news with her sister when she was 5 weeks pregnant by giving her a card written “2026 aunty in training”.
Towards the end of the video, Latto, who was 37 weeks, said that it is the last video she’s taking before the baby's arrival, as she has reached her full term.
Shortly after she said that, the video transitioned to an audio of people encouraging the rapper to “push” which confirms that she has given birth.
However, she did not reveal the baby’s name, date of birth, or gender.
The new mom put the pregnancy rumours to rest back in March after she finally confirmed what was already circulating on social media for weeks.
She announced her pregnancy in an iconic manner, revealing the news on the cover of her upcoming album.
She also dropped a surprise single “Business & Personal” which is also the intro of her album.
But it didn’t end there because after a few minutes of announcing the pregnancy, the upcoming album and dropping the single, she also topped it off by releasing a music video for “Business & Personal”.
Through the music video, she confirmed that she is dating 21 Savage and that he is also the father of her baby after a hand, which looked exactly like 21 Savage's, is then seen placed on her bump.
Both rappers finally confirmed that they are dating in September 2025, after years of speculations. Even though they did not confirmed when they started dating, it is speculated that their relationship began in 2020 after they collaborated on a song titled “Pull Up”.
