American pop icon, Britney Spears recently gave fans a glimpse into her personal life after sharing pictures and videos with her two sons while on a getaway following her DUI arrest.

Over the past weekend, the singer enjoyed a picturesque family retreat aboard a yacht, taking in the vast ocean vistas with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Sharing a glimpse into their outing on Instagram, Spears posted videos where she beams alongside her sons, one capturing a sweet moment with her arm around one boy, and another showing the trio huddled close on the boat.

The singer wore a white bikini top with bright green bottoms before changing into a light pink cropped shirt and denim shorts.

Her sons kept their outfits casual wearing plain white t-shirts and coloured shorts.

In 2025, the singer opened up about her rocky relationship with her sons on X. In a lengthy post, she revealed how she hardly gets to see them and she felt like she always has to beg them to be a part of her life.

“I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys. Relationships with my teenage boys is complex. I have felt demoralised by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life,” she shared.

She further explained that for the past five years, one son only saw her for 45 minutes while the other visited four times in those five years.

The singer’s recent reunion with her two sons follows a turbulent period sparked by her DUI arrest, an incident that drew concern from fans worldwide.

According to online reports, Spears was taken into custody on March 4 and is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.

Following her arrest, her representative released a statement.

“This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney's life.

“Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time. Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well-being."
