Investing in Georgia” that took place during World Tourism Day, “Georgia’s tourism sector has seen impressive growth, with international tourist arrivals increasing steadily. This success is reflected in the country's economic performance, with tourism making a substantial contribution to the national economy.”

Georgia's tourism industry is booming. In 2023, the country welcomed 6.2 million visitors, a notable surge that reflects the growing allure of Georgia's diverse attractions. From the picturesque Old Town of Tbilisi to the serene mountain resorts of Goderdzi and the ancient Ananuri Castle, Georgia offers an experience for every type of traveler.

Tourism receipts in 2023 alone reached USD 4.1 billion, showcasing a significant 24% increase compared to 2019, highlighting the nation’s sustained growth in international tourism revenue.

A Destination with Cultural and Natural Appeal

Georgia’s unmatched cultural and natural heritage further bolsters its position as a leading tourist destination. The country is home to over 12,000 historical monuments and four UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church and Bagrati Cathedral. Georgia's low tax rates, including a corporate tax of just 9.9%, and the absence of capital gains or inheritance taxes, make it an attractive destination for global businesses.
