Reality TV star Sikelelwa Ngubane has taken to Instagram recently to celebrate her late husband and actor, Menzi Ngubane, on what would have been his 60th milestone birthday.

Menzi, who was ill for many years, passed away in March 2021 after suffering a stoke. He was 56.

Menzi was most popular for his role as Sibusiso Dlomo on SABC1’s “Generations”. He also played numerous roles on other South African TV shows, including “Yizo Yizo”, “Ashes to Ashes”, “Isibaya” and “Gold Diggers”.

His wife, Sikelelwa, who is a part of the cast on Showmax’s reality series, “Widows Unveiled”, took to Instagram to commemorate his milestone birthday.

Along with a series of portraits of Menzi, she wrote: “Happy heavenly birthday Somahhashi. Your love & guidance continue to light the way, even though you’re not on this earth anymore. Your legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew you legend 💐.”

In a follow up post, she said that she wished she could reverse time so that she could hug Menzi once more.

“The day that God called your name, it broke my heart in two but Heaven needed an Angel and the one He picked was you, I just wish He could have waited and let you stay with me😢, but you have left memories in my heart and that's where they'll always be ...

“No matter how much time will pass, I will miss you everyday 💔, keep shining bright in Heaven Nomafu, so you can light my way ❤️ Happy Heavenly Birthday ..️.”
