AmaZulu FC's co-coach Arthur Zwane has praised Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nadreddine Nabi for his impressive work at the Soweto giants following their thrilling 2-2 stalemate at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Zwane joined AmaZulu as co-coach alongside Vusimuzi Vilakazi, following the sacking of Spanish tactician Pablo Martin. Together, they have managed to turn things around for Usuthu, who were languishing in the relegation zone before their arrival. The KZN outfit is now in the top eight positions on the log.

Following their 2-2 draw against his former club Zwane commended Nabi for the work he has done at the club, highlighting the club's impressive passing patterns.

“But I must say that Kaizer Chiefs is doing very well, their passing patterns, I think coach Nabi is cooking something great in that team because they made our lives very difficult,” Zwane said according to Sunday World.

Zwane also commended the Tunisian tactician for giving young players at the club a chance. Nabi has fielded Chiefs youngsters such as Samkelo Zwane, Mduduzi Shabalala, Mfundo Vilakazi and Wandile Duba this season.

“I think I should thank Kaizer Chiefs for the progress of these youngsters, and you can see that is the reason the team has the development structures.

“Even though some people did not believe in what the team had been trying to do all these years, it is only a matter of time before you will see all these players blossoming and doing well.

“From the beginning of this campaign, they have carried this team under the circumstances. And we also must commend the coach for giving them confidence and believing in them for continuity’s sake and for the club, because they are a huge investment. The market has always been difficult for Kaizer Chiefs, and I feel sorry for coach Nabi"
