Following Kaizer Chiefs' 3-0 loss to TS Galaxy in a behind-closed-doors friendly game on Wednesday, fans have taken to social media to vent their frustrations after the dismal performance.
The Rockets confirmed the game's result on X, formerly Twitter, stating that they had defeated the Phefeni Glamour Boys 3-0, while Amakhosi, on the other hand, remained mum on the result.
“Today, we played a friendly game against @KaizerChiefs and won 3-0! Our goal scorers were: Puso Dithejane Sphiwe Mahlangu Thokozani Sibanyoni,” The Mpumalanga based club said in a post on X.

This was the Soweto giant’s second 3-0 loss during pre-season. The club also lost to Tanzanian outfit Young Africans in the Toyota Cup last month.
Chiefs are currently in a rebuilding phase after a dismal campaign last season, where they finished in a disappointing 10th place in the league. They have recently roped in Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi to turn things around.
However, things are proving to be more difficult and fans have taken a swipe at the club.
@SbusisoMhlanga said new coach Nabi will not perform miracles and urged the Amakhosi hierarchy to release the players who failed last season.
“I still maintain what I said earlier on. NABI will not perform miracles. Release at least 50% of those players who failed to give us good results last season. We will be a laughing matter again“.
