DURBAN – So, how about that doughnut we caught out in Albany! The less said, the better.
I hope you took some of the viewing advice (Mitre 10) and a little less of the betting tips (Rugby Championship spreads), as that Kiwi provincial rugby is sublime.
Tomorrow it’s top of the table, with ever so connie North Harbour hosting recently scarred Canterbury and Waikato at home to buoyant Wellington.
I’d go away team for both, maybe on the handicap – as long as it’s under two scores.
Our beloved English fare is beginning to settle in now, with some teams showing their weaknesses.
Hammers (7/2) host Spurs (6/10), and I’d say go Spurs. Back them with goals, or both teams to score.
Southampton welcome United, and the away team should do the business, with the Jose train chugging along.
Chelski face the Stoke acid test, looking to turn things around after the blank they drew against the Gooners.
United and Arsenal have already been to Stoke and struggled, but maybe the Blues sneak in.
Man City host a Palace team who are 15/1. The odds say it all. The Bones shy away from these “bankers”.
Everton (7/10) host Bournemouth (32/10), and though home teams are fancied, I like the look of the Toffees coming unstuck against the Cherries.
Burnley (1/10) welcome high-flying Huddersfield, who are a ludicrous 16/10. On principle, one must dip in on away team/draw, or just a cheeky goal on both ends at 17/10.
Swansea and Watford looks like a draw at 22/10.
Leicester (2/1) meet Liverpool (9/10), and this should be a free-flowing match-up with goals on both ends, though I’m leaning towards the Vardy party.
Then Brighton take on Newcastle on Sunday, with odds being at 7/10 the pair, with the draw at a fancied 11/10.
Arsenal (3/10) end the long weekend against West Brom (13/2), and the short price concerns me – especially against a bogey side!
The PGA Tour Championship started last night, with the top 30 players this season slugging it out.
Cabanga, over 150 Million Rands up for grabs. So, if you see flames and decide to have a few late nights and a walk with the lads, you still clean up over one million zucks!

Sjoe, my seun, hoe gaan dit met jou hoender?! Best you go sharpen your game, boys, because these kids are killing it.
I fancy one of the Yankee besties (Messrs Spieth, Fowler or Thomas) to take the bacon. Truth be told, I’m kind of getting over these US courses.
Ziyafana
(they are all the same) and the scores are too low.
Aragon in Spain hosts Sunday arvie Moto GP. I fancy the Spanish trio of Lorenzo, Vinales and Pedrosa to shut out the Italian boytjies of Rossi and Divizioso on the Ducati, as they chase down the constructors’ championship – over and above the drivers’ top honours.
Category 5 Clermont Clairvoryant, over and out.
