Rawson Auctions Western Cape will auction a 1.47 hectare smallholding with enormous development potential, located just outside Hermanus, on August 26 at noon online.

Tanya Jovanovski, the regional Rawson franchisee, says the property comprises a two-bedroomed main house, rondavel, 10 000m² of vacant land, as well as storage units which are let out, and ruscus foliage, grown under shade cloth, for sale to flower shops.

“The energy-efficient and secure home includes two bedrooms (main en suite), two bathrooms, laundry, utility room and open-plan lounge/dining/ kitchen area with built-in fireplace.

“The large rondavel, also with a built-in fireplace, can serve as studio or study. The 15 storage units, which yield R10 800 are month, are secured with an alarm system which can be operated from the house,” Jovanovski says.

There is also a double carport, 166m² shed, domestic accommodation, two rainwater tanks, a borehole, a 30m dam with koi and other fish, and two ponds connected to the dam.

“As for the massive 10 000m² of vacant land, astute developers will relish the opportunity to build another dwelling, add more storage units to increase income or increase the ruscus business and agricultural potential.”

The reserve price will be POA (price on application) and the property will be sold voetstoots. For details, contact Tanya Jovanovski at tanya.auctions@ rawson.co.za, 082 411 9599 or 079 980 3457, or Alta Bester at 076 837 7571.
