By the time you read this, we will be in lockdown and isolation. Some will be at home with loved ones, others with strangers, many may be alone.
From our side, we have been working hard on our print pages and constantly updating our website and portal
Property360
as well as our
and
pages with detailed, helpful information.
Our hearts go out to the property industry dramatically affected by the pandemic, as well as homeowners, renters, buyers and sellers, shack dwellers and the homeless. We feel for you in these weeks of lockdown; the world as we know is changing by the minute.
I want to thank all property industry leaders who, since the pandemic reached South Africa, have stepped up and reached out to the nation, offering messages of hope and calm. We are heartened the industry will continue to operate at this exciting time of technology, and agents will be taking calls.
As the famous saying goes, life happens while you make plans. This is the reality for many of us. Some may have been planning weddings or divorces, holidays or family reunions. Many were in the process of moving home. We hope you find solace on this website.
One of the most important initiatives President Cyril Ramaphosa has put in place is the
solidarity fund
. Please let us reach out from within our walls to the vulnerable.
We will be here for you during these trying weeks. You, our readers and advertisers – many of whom we have got to know personally and hold dear in our hearts – are an integral part of our journey.
In newspapers you will find us nationally in the Saturday Weekend Argus, the Cape Times, Pretoria News, Saturday Star and Independent on Saturday and Sunday Tribune.
Of course, we will be online here at
Property360
Please email me on [email protected] so we can assist with informative and helpful stories and content. Let me know what you’d like to see more of.
