The sequestrated Westland farm of 889.7 hectares is in the Op-die-Berg area, renowned for its production of apples, pears, peaches and vegetables. Westland is annually planted with 11ha of pear orchards, 12.3ha of apple, 7.8ha of pomegranate trees and 70ha of potato and onion crops. About 309ha are arable land.

The farm has water-pumping rights from the Houdenbeks River and also obtains water from nine boreholes and three storage dams. Improvements include two dwellings, a rondavel, a flat and an electrified camping site.
