Good risk-adjusted performance for periods up to five years was recognised in all the bigger unit trust sub-categories. Here Keillen Ndlovu accepts the certificate for best domestic real estate fund for the Stanlib Property Income Fund, Christo Terblanche for the best foreign equity general fund (the Allan Gray Orbis Global Equity Feeder Fund), and Matthew de Wet for the best fixed-interest bond fund (the Nedgroup Investments Bond Fund).

Fund managers of domestic asset allocation prudential funds collected certificates for their funds' top performance on a risk-adjusted basis for periods up to five years ending December last year. From left: Martin Struwig of Dotport Stable Prudential Fund of Funds (best prudential variable equity fund), who also received a Raging Bull in this category, Zee de Gersigny of Metropolitan Odyssey Conservative Fund of Funds (prudential low equity fund) and Errol Shear of Absa Balanced Fund (prudential medium equity).

The Coris Capital International Bond Feeder Fund was awarded a certificate as the top-performing foreign fixed-interest bond fund over three years to the end of December last year. Paul Harrison of Sanlam Multimanager, which manages the fund, collects the certificate.

Certificates for risk-adjusted returns over five years were awarded in two major offshore fund categories. Michael King poses with the certificate for the best global equity general fund, the Franklin Global Small-Mid Cap Growth Fund, and Rene Levy with the certificate for the best global fixed-interest bond fund, the Investec GSF Global Bond Fund.

The best rand-denominated foreign and worldwide asset allocation funds on a risk-adjusted basis for periods up to five years to the end of December last year were honoured. Chris du Toit (left) collects the certificate for the best foreign flexible fund (the Allan Gray Orbis Global Fund of Funds) and Paul Floquet collects the certificate for the best worldwide flexible fund (the Flagship IP Worldwide Flexible Fund of Funds).
