Honeymoon murder-accused Shrien Dewani was arrested following a “heated discussion” with another patient at Priory mental hospital in the United Kingdom, UK based Mail Online reported on Tuesday.

The argument apparently started after the British businessman had an adverse reaction to his anti depressants, the online publication said.

According to the report, Dewani's reaction caused him to be “loud and noisy”.

There was no fight or argument at the hospital in Bristol where Dewani was on bail pending his extradition hearing.

However, a close source told the Mail Online that he got into a heated discussion with a female resident, who was taunting him and saying, “You should go back to South Africa”.

Police did not comment on whether Dewani 31, attacked or was attacked by anyone.

A judge ruled on Monday that Dewani, accused of arranging a hit on his wife, Anni, while on honeymoon in Cape Town, be transferred to Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke in Somerset.

This was after his psychiatrist said he believed Dewani had suffered an adverse reaction to anti-depressants at the weekend.

Dewani, of Westbury-on-Trim, was already on bail at Priory Hospital before the court ordered the transfer.

The Mirror.co.uk said the new hospital was better equipped to deal with his condition.

Dewani had initially been out on bail at his family home in Bristol, but SA authorities asked that be taken into custody after an apparent suicide attempt in February.

Dewani is said to be suffering from severe post-traumatic stress after his new bride was shot dead in an apparent fake hijacking, allegedly plotted by Dewani, in November.

His extradition hearing was scheduled to take place next month. -
