Johannesburg - The award-winning porn star Jesse Jane steamed up the Sexpo in Nasrec Joburg on Friday.
The Body Heat and Pirates actress, who signed autographs and had her picture taken with admirers, revealed this was her first visit to the city – and she was loving every moment.
The 32-year-old model was in Cape Town two years ago but said her experience then was nothing like Joburg.
“I went to the Lion Park and ate insane food. It’s been an awesome experience so far,” she beamed.
She added, however, that while Joburgers loved partying they were more conservative than the residents of the Mother City.
“Cape Town people are very laid back and more open sexually while people here are more conservative,” she said.
Jane pointed out that criticism surrounding her career as a porn star was something she had accepted long ago.
An example of this, she said, was a recent interview she had on 5fm.
“People called the radio station saying they loved me and the work I do. However, on Twitter people expressed their shock and disgust and condemned the station for entertaining this. As much as porn has now been associated with the demeaning of women and child porn, it’s still a wonderful form of entertainment.”
Jane said she was a mother and disliked how people had taken advantage of children through online pornography.
