Durban — Get ready to unleash the fun at the 7th annual Ales for Tails, brought to you by the Durban Home Brewers, 60 of whom will be ready to share their crafts.

This year’s Kloof & Highway SPCA charity event blends the best in craft beer and spirits, a big line-up of bands, and the added charm of a family and dog-friendly atmosphere (dogs on leads welcome), for a perfect day out.

Tickets sold out fast in 2023 (no tickets will be sold at the door), so grab yours from Webtickets now to raise a glass – and some much-needed funds – for our furry friends next Saturday, from 11am-5pm.

Visitors can bring their own cooler box at a charge of R100 per cooler box.

Tickets are categorised as Top Dog (R300), Cool Cat (R200) and Puppy Pals (R50), which gives kids access to the supervised kiddies’ area (3-10-year olds) where they can enjoy jumping castles, face painting, balloon making and painting on canvas to keep them busy. Vote for your best beer on the day to help find this year’s champion brewer.

Live entertainment includes Veranda Panda, Tanner Wareham, Freddy L, Angst Party, Goosfraba, The Name on the Drum and The Golden Super Hawks. A diverse array of street food traders will be on hand, ready to satisfy every palate.

Independent on Saturday
