From the French Alps to the Piazzas of Rome, ‘Emily in Paris’ returns to our screens

“Emily in Paris”, a Netflix romcom drama, is back with a switch of languages, fresh and old new faces and more drama of Part Two, Season 4. It looks like Emily Cooper has found herself a new love interest as she dumps Paris for Greece.

Lily Collins plays the character of Emily Cooper, a young and ambitious marketing executive from Chicago, America who lands her dream job in Paris.

While in Paris, Emily found love on part one of season four with her neighbour Gabriel. Gabriel is played by Lucas Bravo, a charming and charismatic man who is in a relationship with his long term girlfriend, Camille.

Emily and Gabriel’s relationship evolves with time and towards the end of Part One, Gabriel decided to commit to Emily while still with Camille.

The new faces of Part Two of the show include Rupert Everett and Eugenio Franceschini. Everett, plays the character of Giorgio, the head of an interior design business that is based in Rome. Franceschini plays the character of Marcello, Emily’s love interest who works for his family’s company.

After the much anticipated wait, and part two released, viewers of the show expressed their thoughts on the new episodes.

X user @xonancy commented, “OK PART 2 ATE. I can’t believe I am saying this but Marcello brings so much peace and joy to Emily. As much as I loved Emily and Gabriel at the start, he needs to get his s*** together.”
