In a thrilling blend of cultures and genres, South Africa’s Amapiano giants, Scorpion Kings, a duo that is made up of Kabza De Small and Dj Maphorisa, alongside Metro Awards Lifetime Achievement winner, DJ Oskido are featured in the release of a groundbreaking single titled ‘’Afro Wave.’’

Amapiano vocalists, Tman Xpress and Phila Dlozi are also included on this exceptional single, while the renowned Brazilian Bloc-Afro group, Olodum introduces the global Bahia sound.

The production is an impressive showcase of genre fusion, where the pulsating Amapiano log drum meets the soulful beats of Afrohouse.

CANEX Creations Incorporated, an initiative powered by Afrexim Bank’s Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) programme announces the release of the highly anticipated EP, ONE DRUM - a collaborative masterpiece that bridges cultures and genres, while celebrating the rich musical heritage of Africa and its diaspora.

The highly anticipated "One Drum" EP captures the deep cultural ties that exist between Africa and its diaspora, including the Caribbean and the Americas.

"One Drum" features an eclectic blend of genres such as Afrobeat, Latin, Amapiano, EDM, Axé, Reggae, and Afro House. Spearheaded by South African music pioneer, DJ Oskido and American polymath Commissioner Gordon, the EP includes contributions from notable artists like Nigeria's Flavour, Kenya's Sofiya Nzau, Jamaica's Stephen Marley, and Jo Mersa Marley, among others.

This project's lifeblood is the drum, an essential musical component that unites performers and listeners with its universal language.
