E.L. James has written a new romance novel and is halfway through another.
The best-selling author - best known for penning the 'Fifty Shades' trilogy, as well as its companion novel 'Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian' - has confirmed she's currently working on some new love-inspired material, but doesn't know when it'll be published.
During a Twitter Q&A with fans on Monday, the 52-year-old writer was asked whether she plans to pen another novel, to which she replied: "I've written a new book and am halfway through another. Both romances. Not sure when I will finish them."
However, James - whose 'Fifty Shadesy' work has also spawned a money-spinning movie franchise - declined the chance to reveal any further details about her much-anticipated new release.
As well as working on new material, James served as a producer on the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie earlier this year and it's been suggested that creative tensions between herself and Sam Taylor-Johnson caused the director to walk away from the next film in the series, 'Fifty Shades Darker'.
Speaking shortly after announcing her decision to quit, Sam said: "I'm flattered they wanted me to continue. But it was a monumental job - that was enough for me."
