Durban — The International Spirits and Wine Festival is set to bring an unparalleled celebration of global and local spirits, wines, and cocktails to South Africa this year. The event will debut in Durban on Friday and Saturday at the Suncoast playTsogo Globe.

With stops in Durban, Cape Town, and Johannesburg, the event promises an immersive experience for enthusiasts and casual tasters alike.

In a statement, Odwil Productions, the event's producers said: “This two-day event, set against the vibrant backdrop of one of South Africa’s most iconic cities, promises to be a unique fusion of global and local flavours, showcasing the best in wines and spirits from around the world.”

The company described the festival as “a unique opportunity to explore a diverse range of spirits, wines, and cocktails from South Africa and beyond”. It said attendees would have the chance to engage in tastings, discover new favourites, and savour the finest beverages the world has to offer.

“The International Spirits and Wine Festival is a celebration of the art of fine drinking. Featuring a curated selection of premium wines and spirits, it offers attendees the opportunity to explore a world of flavours. From the smooth elegance of Italian wines to the bold complexity of Scotch whisky, the festival caters to both connoisseurs and casual enthusiasts alike.”
