Durban — African Opulence Experiential Marketing (AOE) is set to host the Dolphin Coast Bubbly Expo on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast, in association with Tops at Spar.
In celebration of the annual International Champagne Weekend which is globally celebrated on the fourth Friday of October, AOE will be hosting a first-of-its-kind event at The Manor House Venue on October 29.
AOE chief executive Lunga Sokhela said this was an opportunity for the company to give its clients and customers the greatest experiences of best champagne while showcasing the North Coast.
“This will give people a taste of Cap Classique and Champagne brands that are available and sponsored by their favourite South African premier liquor retail brand Tops at Spar. We have worked hard to bring the finest bubbly producers for our guests to enjoy,” he said.
“I believe the North Coast is slowly becoming a big part of KZN attractions. It is growing to play a huge part in attracting investors and helping to grow tourism. Hence we need such events to showcase more, so people in other provinces and countries know about every corner of South Africa.”
Sokhela said that the event was already added on the calendar to be an annual event.

The event will be hosted by a star duo of Linda Majola and Hope Mbhele.
Guests will be entertained by horses with show jumping while toasting the Zulu king’s inauguration and the viewing of the Soweto Derby, Orlando Pirates versus Kaizer Chiefs, live football match on the big screen.
This will also give guests an opportunity to place bets and stand the chance to win give-aways from the two clubs and AmaZulu FC.
